1.79%DIVISAS- Dólar sostenido por rumor de cobertura de posiciones cortas
NUEVA YORK (AFX-España) - Un rumor que corre por los mercados y según el cual el financiero Warren Buffett podría estar cubriendo posiciones cortas parece estar sosteniendo al dólar esta tarde, según dijo Sean Callow, estratega de divisas de IDEAGlobal, a MarketWatch.
Callow señala, no obstante, que no hay manera de saber con certeza si Buffett está realmente llevando a cabo esta operación.
El euro bajaba un 0,8% hasta 1,2804 dólares y el billete verde ganaba un 0,9% hasta 108,22 yenes tras saberse ayer que el Fondo Monetario Internacional ha reducido drásticamente su previsión de crecimiento en Japón este año.
